This super bright LED-based light provides 1000 lumens of light in a lightweight and storm-proof package. The SG-1000 works great on the road or trail and with 3 hours of run time on full brightness you will have plenty of light to get home safely.
The lithium-Ion battery is sealed against the elements in a silicone housing and can be recharged with the included wall charger in a few hours. The headlight itself is fully sealed against moisture and the silicone covered power switch is easily operated with gloves on.
If you commute by bicycle you will appreciate how bright this light is. Most motorists will mistake you for a motorcycle!
Now you don't have to finish your ride before the sun goes down. Keep pedaling through the night with the SG-1000 bicycle headlight!
My Broken Bike, 2007
This was another adventure that I had towards the end of last year, my first bike, or for that matter bike ride, in TEN YEARS!! It was so hard the first time, on Spalena in Prague, no less, dodging cars and trams, that I almost fell off! I actually had trouble balancing, and my body was shaking from fear, fatigue (as I hadn't had enough sleep the night before), and excitement. After that initial test run, I did another test in Cercany, and then went on a long ride through Prague with a bike club (of sorts) that I've been involved with ever since, and when I got it home, the rear wheel was twisted out of shape, the derailer was out of adjustment (as it had been since the ride in Cercany), and nearly everything needed to be tightened and adjusted. The local bike repair shop refused to fix it, and demanded that I buy a (very expensive) new bike from them, the basis for this being that I was American, and then when they finally agreed to fix it, it was on the condition of a higher price combined with monthly maintenance for the same astronomical price. I did the math, and figured out that I would spend the equivalent of three new bikes a year if I agreed to this, so needless to say, I took it home and started to fix it myself. It took me over a month to get the parts and the tools, and get it to work, but eventually I did. I took this photo during the halfway point where I had finally gotten the old wheel off. I still had to take the cassette off the old wheel (not easy on a cheap bike), and put it on the new wheel (seen in the rear here), and even then I had to do more adjustments, of course. On the next ride, the bike nearly fell apart again, but on the third ride, I returned home without having to adjust anything. Woopee! I guess I can go on another ride in a few days, but clearly a bike this cheap isn't practical transportation. That's what I get for spending less than 4000Kc on a bike.

For those who doubt that Canon Wireless works in the harsh mid day sun, I give you this... I have several shots where I caught my off-camera 580EX slave firing with no problem. Why bother? High Speed Sync, baby! I was shooting at 1/500th, 1/640th and 1/800th. My other choices were 1/250th with various expensive triggers, or 1/200th with my eBay triggers.
The trick to using Canon Wireless in the mid day sun is to shield the red receiver panel from the sun. I did this by placing my flash in the shade of the jump, and I made a littel Gaffer's tape gobo around the red panel--it worked great!. I also like to turn the red panel toweard the triggring 580 on may camera. Both 580s contributed to this shot.

X-Socks recreate the barefoot climate with ventilation and air-condition all around. Only well ventilated skin hence dry feet are resistant, thus we focus on three basic elements. 1. A foot bed shaped to be respecting the difference of the right and left foot by integrating the beginning of the AirConditioning Channels. 2. The AirConditioning Channel reaches into the foot bed in order to pump sweat and warmth out of the inner shoe and absorb fresh air by using elasticity of the foot vault with every step. 3. Newly developed high performance functional yarn, used only for the X-Socks technologies.
